  • How can I place my order?
    You can fill out our online form given at our contact page to place your order. Carefully fill out the details about the order and include your correct contact details for us to get in touch with you. For further information, have a look at our 'Bespoke Cake ordering Process' page.
  • How far in advance should I place my order?
    We recommend placing your order at least 2-4 weeks in advance, especially for bespoke cakes. This gives us enough time to discuss the design, plan the creation, and ensure we have a slot available for you. However, we understand that sometimes needs arise at short notice, and we will always do our best to accommodate these.
  • Can I customise my cake design?
    Absolutely! At Ama's Cake Boutique, our specialty is creating bespoke cakes. We work with you to bring your vision to life, whether it's a simple design or an elaborate creation.
  • How much will my cake cost?
    The cost of our cakes varies depending on several factors including the size, design complexity, and flavour. Cost is determined by how large the cake will be (how many guests it is to serve) and the intricacy of the design. Prices can range from £3 to £15 per serving, and the cost can go much higher depending on the intricacy of the design. Once we understand your requirements, we will provide a detailed quotation.
  • Can I taste the cake before I order?
    Yes, we offer tasting sessions for our wedding cake clients. For other events, a tasting can be arranged upon request. Please contact us for more information and to schedule a tasting session.
  • Can you replicate a cake design I saw elsewhere?
    We strive to create a unique cake for every client, but we understand that you may find inspiration from other sources. We're more than happy to take inspiration from a design you love and put our own creative spin on it, ensuring your cake is truly one-of-a-kind.
  • What if I need to make changes to my order?
    We understand that plans can change. If you need to make adjustments to your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Note that changes within a certain timeframe may not be possible or may incur additional charges.
  • Do you deliver?
    We're pleased to offer cake delivery services at an additional fee which will depend on the location of your event. This cost will be reflected in your initial quotation. Tiered Cakes Delivery Preference: For cakes with three tiers or more, we recommend our delivery and setup service to ensure the best presentation and safety. Should you choose to pick up and arrange the cake yourself, any damages post-collection will be outside our purview and responsibility. Transfer of Responsibility: Upon successful delivery and setup, or once the order is collected, the care and maintenance of the cake becomes your sole responsibility. Ama’s Cake Boutique is not accountable for any subsequent loss or damage, be it due to mishandling, accidental bumps, child interference, or any unforeseen circumstances. Alternate Handover Requests: Should you instruct us to leave your cake in a specific location or with a designated individual, it is your duty to ensure its safety from that point on. Ama’s Cake Boutique cannot be held responsible for any damages or mishaps once the cake has been handed over per your instructions.
  • How can I keep the cakes fresh?
    Most sponge cakes are at their prime when freshly baked, so if possible, We suggest that you serve the cake the same day it is delivered/collected. We take cakes & cupcakes seriously, refrigeration is a dreadful thing to inflict on a perfectly good cake - it’s criminal.You should be fine with storing at room temperature and keep it out of the direct sun and away from any major heat sources that might melt the icing. Some cakes with special ingredients or fillings may need to be refrigerated. We will provide specific storage instructions when you pick up or receive your cake.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    For cancellations made at least two weeks before the pickup/delivery date, we provide a full refund. Cancellations made within two weeks of the pickup/delivery date will be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the deposit paid.
  • Can you cater to large events like corporate parties or weddings?
    Absolutely! We're more than capable of handling large orders for corporate events, weddings, and more. Please contact us well in advance to discuss your needs and ensure we can accommodate your order.
