Terms & Conditions

By using our website and ordering from Ama's Cake Boutique, you agree to the following terms and conditions.Please review these terms carefully and let us know if you have any queries or concerns. We aim for a seamless and delightful cake experience for every customer.

ORDERING

To secure your booking with Ama’s Cake Boutique, we require a non-refundable booking deposit of £100 for wedding orders, and at least 50% of the total amount due for celebrations cakes and all other products. This secures your order and allows us to begin work on your bespoke cake.

 

We will let you specifically how much deposit you will need to pay at the time of booking. The remaining balance is typically due one week prior to the event date. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the order. Your date is not secured, and your order is not confirmed until we have received the booking deposit.

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be made in writing. In the event of a cancellation by you, the client, any deposit paid is non-refundable. For cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the event, the full balance will be due. If we need to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund.

DESIGN

During the consultation process, we work with you to agree upon a design for your cake. While we make every effort to match your desired design, there may be instances when it is necessary to change a colour or detail due to the nature of the materials we work with.

ALLERGIES

Ama's Cake Boutique products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.

DELIVERY & COLLECTION

While we do offer delivery, we are not liable for any damage to the cake after setup is complete. You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake.

If you choose to collect the cake yourself, the goods become your responsibility once they leave our premises. We will not be held liable for any damage that occurs once the cake is in your care.

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Any changes to your order must be made in writing and may be subject to additional charges. We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but changes may not be possible if they are made close to the event date. All cakes are made to order therefore cannot be exchanged or returned. In the extremely rare event that there is a fault with your order, please ensure you return the cake to us the moment you notice this.

NON-EDIBLE ITEMS

Some cakes may contain non-edible items such as dowels, wires, or ribbon for structural purposes. It is your responsibility to ensure these are removed by your event planner or caterer before the cake is cut and served.

IMAGES & MARKETING

We reserve the right to capture photographs of your cake(s) for our marketing, advertising, and promotional activities without any remuneration to you.

 

Third-party Photography: We may seek photographs from your event photographer, which could include images of you cutting the cake. These will be used for similar marketing endeavours without compensation. However, we will consider crediting the photographer in our promotional material, contingent upon mutual agreement between Ama’s Cake Boutique and the photographer.

 

Opt-out Clause: If you prefer not to have images of you cutting the cake used in our promotional campaigns, kindly inform us during the booking process.
